Wow it is Thursday already....... this week has flown for me, as I have been frantically busy with work. Actually the truth is I have procrastinated over the last few weeks and now it has caught up with me. I have some major deliverable for a couple of clients in the next few days and I had not even started the work until Tuesday.
The good news is I have a least one under control and the back broken on the other. However I always say this - "next time I will plan and not leave things to the last minute", as this causes a lot of stress and you know what stress does for me. Yes! that is right eat.
I am happy to say that this week, as I am a born again week 1 WW I have avoided the junk food and snacks (I love sweet things). It has been really hard at times, but I have survived. Quiet amazing as this is day 4 and all this year I have not been able to get past day 2.
Also happy about my exercise - 1hr walk for 3 out of the 4 days! I am also a Walking with Attitude member, so the new challenge has me all revved up. Long may this last.
Have my tracker back in action (have not used it since I got to goal). ummmm that is an interesting thought. When I did WWs and got to my goal weight I tracked religiously. You see I have this terrible disease called "food amnesia" I forget what has gone in my mouth. Yeah right! Well, the point of all this is, I had actually forgotten that every little snack adds up. Yesterday I took a rough stab at what my points total for last weekend would have been.... over 35pts on both days (and I did not have my usual bad weekend). OMG it is no wonder I have piled the weight back on. So the tracker is here to stay! It was a really good tool and it keeps me honest.
Well must get back to work :)

Hi Gabby - thank you for your comment on my blog the other day. I'm so pleased to have finally joined Blogland, I wish I'd done it ages ago!
Congratulations on starting your own journey - you know what they say, the hardest part is the beginning. I don't know whether I can describe to you the incredible feeling you get when you achieve your goals, and even though I'm only half way. I already feel so much better about myself, my health, and where I'm heading in life. It can be very hard at times - but hang in there and stick with it, because the rewards far outweigh any dramas and hiccups along the way (pun intended!).
I know what you mean about food amnesia! I too have a bit of a sweet tooth. The Nestle Diet Mousse and Weight Watchers Chocolate Icecream are my favourite treats. They are portion controlled too, which helps prevent a pig out situation, which was very common for me in my pre WW days.
I wish you all the best with your journey. I'll check back in to see how you're going!
Cheers,
Philippa
